| | Answer: To be technically correct you should dissolve the 100g in about 1500ml of purified water and then make up to 2l once dissolved.you then have a solution containing 50g/l.
If you take 100g and dissolve it in 2l of purified water you will end up wit a final volume of about 2075ml which gives a solution of about 48.2gm/l.
